Each week, Qu3pid Notes asks it's female readers who are aspiring models and established models whom may can use some exposure to send in a picture with a short bio either via twitter or email and a panel of judges decide's to pick a beauty of the week based on looks and personality. We then acknowledge them on our website for the entire week.
Our final decision is based on not only physical beauty but true inner beauty.
This week's Beauty of the week is: Kendra Newsome. We caught up with her & here's what she had to say:
1. How long have you been modeling
-I have been modeling since I was 14 years old. I first was presented with the opportunity when I won a modeling competition at church. Seeing as though I was raised in a very religious home. I felt as though it was a sign from God; how cliche, but very true.
2. Name a few models that inspire you?
-Wow, there are so many! Eva Pigford, most people don't realize that she was the FIRST 5'4 model to win ANTM (America's Next Top Model), seeing as though I'm 5 feet; I had to pay homage. Tyra Banks, she is beautiful in so many ways and she exudes class and professionalism. Iman, she is of African decent and has flawless beauty.
3.Who are some photographers you would love to work with ?
-Derrick Blanks, Patrick Mathis: Whom I currently work with now! He is an amazing photographer with a lot of creative insight!, Helmut Newton, he specializes in NUDE photography...sounds raunchy...but not at all. He adds the artistic touch and creativity side to it. Most of his photography is B&W, so it has an "old fashioned" presence. Nonetheless, whomever would like to work with me! I am open to working with aspiring and up and coming photographers, I love to be a "test dummy", it's a trade for trade. Usually those are the best shots models take!
4. What qualities do you look for in a man?
- Honesty, Humbleness, Confidence, Patience (I am a handful! A man would have to know how to handle my many emotions and spontaneity!) , Loving (I usually like men that have a good relationship with their mother. That is usually the treatment they will render to their partner!) , Intelligent, Optimistic (I love a man who has goals, morals, and dreams. Taking it to the next level and putting it into action is such a turn-on! , and lastly Religious (He needs to have a relationship with GOD! With him anything is possible!) . Those are just a few!
5. How does a guy catch your attention?
-I like a man that can hold a conversation. That is the BEST quality. Listening, also goes hand in hand with that! Many people have the ability to SPEAK, but listening at the same time; that is TALENT! A man that listens, will never forget!
6. what are some turn-ons for you
-Confidence, Hard-worker, a Poised Individual, Good Hygiene, a Nice Smile, A nice sense of Style, Family Oriented, the list goes on...
7. If you could date one person who would it be and why?
I really don't date. Sounds crazy, but true! If I had to say...a man that possesses the qualities of my father! I love my father! He is my rock!
8. Let our readers know one fantasy of yours
-I am a DAY-DREAMER! I love taking those trips deep through my thoughts...Being on a beach, with a loved one...relaxing...kicking my feet up...and just spending quality time. I am very old-fashioned. :-) I am down-to-earth, it doesn't take much to please me!
9. Who do you think is harder to understand men or women? And why?
-WOMEN! Hands down! We are the most beautiful and intriguing thing that GOD created. We are bi-polar, emotional, CRAZY, complicated, and insecure to a certain extent. I think MEN lack the KEY ingredient to understanding our kind. No man on this earth will EVER understand a woman, but seeing as though I am one; I like to inform them. Listen! Listen! Listen! After you learn those THREE east steps, you will be above the rest!
10. What is the most embarrassing thing you have ever done?
-THERE ARE SO MANY! I used to play basketball in middle school, and our team was up by two points! The ball rolled my way and I picked it up, it was my chance to show everyone that I had what it took to WIN this game! As I dribbled, the crowd went WILD, I thought they were cheering me on, I had tunnel vision! With me having that tunnel vision, I was focused on the fast break that I had. I came up on the goal and shot! It went in, BUT it was a win for the wrong team! I scored the winning shot for our rival. To this day, my friends still joke to me about it. There was also an incident where I dressed up as a character from a famous movie; Toy Story. I had to wear a FULL costume. Luckily, my face wasn't showing, BUT it was sooooo embarrassing! I have yet to be able to swallow that pill, but now thinking about it, it makes me HUMBLE. It brought me back to reality and made me realize that you are NEVER too good to do anything and when I think I am, I take myself to that time where I did.
11. So what is up next for Ms. Kendra?
-Chasing my dreams and making my family PROUD! I have a bloodline of hardworking people in my family! I will not stop until I achieve those dreams! I am currently in my sophomore year of college and I am majoring in Information Technology, and specializing in Systems and Security. While I am doing all that, I add on a FULL load of modeling and acting, which usually takes all my time up to engage in social activities! When I have time, I try to go out...

Kendra is a beautiful women both inside and out and anybody thats with her knows it. She is unique and leaves a impression on everyone she works with which causes them to want to be with her even more. This comes from experience i meet her two years ago and have never left her side nor do i plan to . She's the best, she ets it from her mama tho Muah
